Calculation formula of Beacon's "measured power @ 1m"

Hi Support team,

I'd like to know the calculation formula of "measured power @ 1m" in beacon format.
Our beacon's RSSI was -62.74 dbm at 1m.

Best regards,
Yamazaki,

Hi Yamazaki,

Hi Yamazaki,

You mean how to calculate the distance based on the RSSI dbm ? You can extract dbm by using the following formula indicated by the following post:

http://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/convert-rssi-dbm

Now about the distance measuring, there are a few formulas that derive distance from power level, we dont have any application that implements this kind of translation, most of the applications are on android and the ios platforms which have api's that allow you to measure the distance based on the received rssi.

Thanks MT_dialog
