APTX over AD2P

Hello,

Can I use DA14580 to transfer APT-X sound over the A2DP profile?
Any tips how?

My idea is to use that because of the low latency, since this is needed for my implementation - besides that the quallity is irrelevant to me - I will use only beeps. If you think this is duable with other profiles/codecs or whatever, I will appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Alex,

The A2DP profile is a profile supported by the classic bluetooth and not supported by BLE. If i am not mistaken in the future the bluetooth 5.0 will support a profile like A2DP over BLE.

One question about A2DP and

One question about A2DP and DA14583. Can i create program that will connect to headset and play sound on it. Is it possible with da14583?

As mentioned above, the A2DP is a profile for the standard bluetooth, not the BLE, the 58x family supports only the BLE protocol, not the standard BR/EDR Bluetooth.
