Voltage of I2C
Posted byRafaela Freitas30 points 3 repliesHello forum,
I am new here, and it is my first project using a Dialog component. I am using the model SLG46826, but we will not be able to program the chip and then solder it to the PCB.
Searching, I found the In-circuit programming device (still not sure about its part numer, if it is SLG4DVKGSD or SLG4DVKISP), and important information such as it´s connection and voltage for the I2C. It would help a lot if I had in hands its datasheet.
See.. I am worried because my main MCU it's connected also to the I2C, and it will damage when voltage is more than 3.6V.
Can someone help me to confirm: (1) the correct part number for the In-circuit programming device?
(2) Voltage range of I2C connection?
提前谢谢!

Hello Rafaela,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
SLG46826 is the GPAK part with In-System Programmability, hence you will be able to program the part after soldering. SLG4DVKGSD is the part number for the Serial Debugger board (http://www.silego.com/buy/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_74&products_id=727) which used to be previously SLG4DVKISP. Please find attached a datasheet for the 46826 part. Also since the I2C line voltage is common for every device, even if the device is supplied with a different voltage, the I2C line voltage remains the same.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions
Kind Regards
Shivani
