Hello,

My team is having trouble selecting a microcontroller for our application. Our application is a wearable device that only needs to display media (picture or video) on a screen based on what a user selects on their mobile device. This said, the MC requires to be Bluetooth and RF (transceiver) compatible, must have a charge controller suitable for wireless charging (Qi Standard), must have an LCD Controller, Flash Controller, and have the ability to connect to an external Flash memory storage IC. We require a balance between power efficiency, security, temperature tolerance, and memory. One such dialog MC that we have looked into is the DA1469x series, or particularly the DA14695 MCU, which ran Arm Cortex-M33. However, we noted that by using this MCU, there are 40 not connected pins in our circuit. Hence, we believe that we are paying more than necessary. Therefore, we are hoping that the Dialog Semiconductor Engineers can help us select a well suited MCU for our application and requirements, that helps us hopefully not waste too many pins and is the best use and value to our specific requirements. According to your post, an LCD controller is need for your application. The DA1469x product family includes an LCD peripheral block.
