It uses Dialog’s iW1830AccuSwitch™digital off-line power supply controller IC and supplies a 5V: 3A regulated output using a primary-side controlled, quasi-resonant flyback converter. Dialog’sprimAccurate™primary-side control in the iW1830 IC helps achieve the tight output voltage cross-regulation required by high-reliability applications, such as dishwashers, refrigerators, cooking ranges, microwaves and other multi-rail supplies, without the need for a secondary-side regulator or failure-prone optocouplers.
